Scholarships

Dear CDS Foothill Chapter Members,
This year we are proud to offer our members a number of fabulous scholarship opportunities. The newest scholarship will be in celebration of the life of Colleen Reid. The Colleen Reid Educational Scholarship will be awarded annually by the Foothills Board and Scholarships Committee to a Foothills member who demonstrates consistent and cumulative volunteer activities, and are dedicated to pursuing specific educational activities organized by the United States Dressage Federation.
In addition to this new scholarship, we will also be offering a new award: The Colleen Reid Perpetual Trophy. This is a prestigious honor which will be presented to a Foothills Chapter member who is a most outstanding volunteer. This award will be given to someone who is NOMINATED by other members, so please let us know who YOU would like to nominate.
The overall success of our fundraising efforts this year will determine the number of awards per scholarship. We encourage everyone to apply who has a total of 12 volunteer hours or more logged from this year. Once awarded, scholarships must be redeemed within the year they were awarded. (Expiration on December 31, 2025)
Below we have provided the eligibility requirements, application procedure, selection procedure, ways to acquire your mandatory volunteer hours and approved award utilization.

Thank you very much for the continued support of our chapter. We hope that these scholarships help our members achieve their riding goals!
